On Wednesday July 28, 2021, I got a call from Daniel who was away at Centrikid camp with Dawson Baptist Church. My first thought was, “we are about to have to drive to Mississippi to pick pick him up because he sick.” However, The words that came out of his mouth are some of the sweetest words I’ve ever heard! Daniel said, “Mommy I’m a Christian, now!”
On October 3, 2021, Daniel was baptized in the same baptistery that Welles was baptized in at age 13. It was such a special day, and Welles and I are so thankful for family, friends and Dawson staff and volunteers for their faithful ministries in Daniel’s life!
