My sister was a huge help, and I am so thankful we got these pictures together!
Daniel is enjoying his new school more and more each day. Apparently he has a little girlfriend who has dark curly hair - she's cute! They had a fire drill a few weeks ago and the teachers used a white parachute to mimic smoke to teach the children to crawl underneath it. They said "everyone grab a buddy!" Daniel grabbed his girlfriend's hand. He also helped her with her pumpkin the other day in the pumpkin patch. What a gentleman!
Daniel was playing baseball a few weekends ago, and hitting the ball off the tee. I asked him if he wanted to be a baseball player when he grew up. He said, "No, mama!" I said, " what do you want to be?" Daniel said, "I want to be a doctor!" I said, "Oh! That's great - do you want to be a doctor for little kids?" He said, "No. I want to be a doctor for big kids. I will take care of you, Mama!" Isn't that sweet?
Apparently Daniel's teachers at school are Alabama fans - which is fine with me! The other night at dinner, Welles said, "Daniel, do you like Auburn?" Daniel said, "No! I don't like Aubrun, I just like Alabama!"
We watched the game the other night and Daniel was very loudly cheering each time Alabama scored. At one point, He was running around the room as Aunt B chased him. He tripped and slid across the floor. Bonnie was about 10 feet behind him, and as she helped him up, he said, "You tackled me!"
Daniel loves the movie Cars. He loves Tow Mater. He said, out of the blue, "Roll Dadgum Tide." I can't make this stuff up! Haha!
